Last month we were able to watch the total solar eclipse. We originally had other plans to see it elsewhere, but the eclipse madness was no joke. Everything and everywhere was fully booked very far in advance. At the end of the day, as long as you’re in the path of totality, you’re good to go along with your protective glasses.
I didn’t have high hopes for it, as leading up to the day, the forecast was not good. Several weathermen mentioned that they wished they were wrong. It turned out that they were wrong, and we were able to see the total solar eclipse. The weathermen themselves were glad that they were wrong as well.
It was everything that I had hoped for and then some. It was simply awesome, and I can see why people chase after it all over the world.
It was a once in a lifetime event for me, and I’m so glad that I was able to see it and share this moment with my family.
